ÁREA DE LA COVA FONDA
Located in the western part of the town, it is reached along a paved walk that you can start at the swimming pool area (going towards the cemetery). Along with the castle, it is the best place to get a panoramic view of the irregular meanders and fertile alluvial plains that the Rambla de Cervera creates as it passes through the town. In addition, the bluish, uniform coastline with its main towns (Benicarló and Vinaròs) can be seen perfectly from this point. It is a massive, steep and rocky area, on which part of the castle sits, and in whose sculpted walls several attractive caves or cavities can be found. The night-time illumination gives the whole area, an even more attractive picturesque air, if at all possible; this is an absolute must-see.
